An inspired organization. Challenging the accepted. Overcoming traditional barriers to success.

One of The O'Neil Group's missions is to foster economic development and improve the downtown Colorado Springs business corridor and quality of life within its boundaries by supporting existing businesses, attracting new businesses, and creating a safe flourishing business environment. Below is a list of highlighted success stories over the years that The O'Neil Group is proud to share.

Headquartering in Downtown Colorado Springs

Recognizing a reduction in properties downtown and industries moving away from the heart of Colorado Springs to the north side of town and leaving behind the value and strength of our downtown community, was a huge concern to The O'Neil Group and our belief of what our downtown community has to offer. In August 2011, The O'Neil Group decided to take action and engage partners in our community to help sell the value of headquartering their companies in the heart of Colorado Springs. That action manifested itself in an associate buying one of the premier properties in Colorado Springs in the heart of our city, 6 N. Tejon.

With the help of Braxton Science & Technology Group, and the support of tenants; The Gazette, Techwise and Vladamir Jones we were able to manifest this purchase into a marquee of proof that being headquartered downtown Colorado Springs has tremendous value.

Safety in our Downtown Community

As tenancy increased at 6 N. Tejon, The O'Neil Group noticed an increase in vagrancy issues. It became apparent there was a need for creating an environment where the Police Station had a downtown presence. Being a catalyst to encouraging businesses to thrive downtown, The O’Neil Group understood the value and importance of having a police station. The O’Neil Group supplied the facility necessary to keep our streets safe.

Connecting the Technology Corridor

The O’Neil Group and Braxton Science and Technology Group understood the need to connect the technology corridor from Northern Colorado to Southern Colorado and did this through their acquisition to NDP, a Boulder based engineering firm in April 2013. This acquisition has provided an alignment with CU Boulder and an opportunity to work hand in hand with an advanced Colorado University.
