Kevin O'Neil - CEO

A native of Colorado Springs, Kevin O’Neil has balanced his entrepreneurial efforts with a commitment to paying it forward. Mr. O’Neil launched his first company in 1982. Since this beginning he has grown a diverse business portfolio that includes wholesale lighting, mechanical contracting, graphics design, medical waste entities, residential real estate development, multi-family residential management, vacation real estate, residential construction, light commercial development and construction, textiles, aerospace engineering, cyber space, small business consulting and, most recently, software technology and the creation of a collaborative innovation district for the development of local businesses and the economic growth of Colorado Springs. Inherent in each of his ventures is a community development component, whether economic growth through bringing new jobs and companies to the Pikes Peak region or support of local charities and non-profits in the form of volunteering his financial and business expertise. Mr. O’Neil is also an entrepreneur with diversified holdings through The O’Neil Group Company. Some of his accomplishments over the past 30 years include rehabilitation of value-added multi-family housing for subsequent sale or addition to his personal property portfolio. He has begun to expand his portfolio to include equity investing groups allowing large groups of personal investment opportunities. Mr. O’Neil purchased Braxton Technologies, LLC, in 2008 through his investment concern, The O’Neil Group Company. Braxton is Mr. O’Neil’s cornerstone for new industry and future growth.

Mr. O’Neil is passionate about engaging local students in the engineering field and encouraging them to stay in Colorado Springs to take advantage of local opportunities for education and training.

Mr. O’Neil is a member of the Board of Directors of the Regional Business Alliance, the newly formed/merged Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce/Economic Development Center–Military Affairs Council, and a member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA), National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA), and the Lance P. Sijan Chapter of the Air Force Association (AFA). He also sits on the Boards of Directors of many businesses.

Maury Keller, CPA - CFO

Mr. Keller has over 15 years of experience as a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Keller earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Mr. Keller is a managing shareholder of Williams, Kopenhafer and Keller, P.C. Mr. Keller’s primary areas of expertise include business consulting, financial statement preparation and corporate/partnership tax advisory services. Mr. Keller also has business development, cash flow management, audit, tax planning and preparation, and litigation support experience. Mr. Keller has managed a client’s real estate company for the past nine years and manages a portfolio of private placement investments for several clients’ retirement plans. Mr. Keller is a member of the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He also completed the AICPA’s business valuation series of courses.

Ron Voss, Executive Counsel

Ron Voss has been a licensed and practicing Colorado attorney for 28 years. He was a partner in the law firm of Retherford, Mullen, Johnson & Bruce until 1998. He has owned and managed his own law firm since 2000. His private practice experience includes the areas of intellectual property, business transactions, and a diverse litigation practice, including commercial litigation.

Mr. Voss began working for Braxton Technologies, LLC as a Director in 2010 and gained additional experience in software licensing and contract negotiations. Prior to 2010, he assisted in contract preparation and litigation for The O'Neil Group Company and various affiliates. He was made a partner of The O'Neil Group Company in December 2012.

Jon Lee - Director of Finance

Mr. Lee has had a wide range of business experiences as an accounting software consultant, controller for a large entertainment company, and Chief Financial Officer for a local medical practice. Jon’s public accounting experience is in the audit field where he audited many types of companies in various industries ranging from non-profits to hospital systems to financial institutions. These experiences have proven valuable in managing the wide ranging holdings of The O’Neil Group Company.

Mr. Lee obtained his Certified Public Accountant license in 2009 and has over 15 years of experience in the accounting industry. He is a member of the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts and holds the Chartered Global Management Accountant and Certified Information Technology Professional designations. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from Ft Lewis College in Durango and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.

Jon is a Colorado native excited to be a part of The O’Neil Group Company’s vision of growing the Colorado Springs business community with headquarters companies and attracting and retaining the talent necessary to operate those companies.

Ingrid Richter - Economic Development Director

Ingrid Richter joined The O’Neil Group Company in 2014, as President and employing broker of The Paramount Group. She quickly became involved in business planning, strategy and project management for the various assets owned by the partners. With a passion for strategic planning and operations, Ms. Richter is responsible for launching the Catalyst Campus for Technology and Innovation, an O’Neil Group business venture that promotes various advanced industries and economic development in Colorado Springs.

After careers as paralegal and human resources director, Ms. Richter’s passion for business, policy and project management, led her to real estate development, where she navigated governmental approvals for over 20 real estate development projects. Ms. Richter was elected to the City of Manitou Springs City Council in 2010 and served one term. In 2011, Mr. Richter joined the City of Colorado Springs as Real Estate Manager, directing real estate transactions for the City, Colorado Springs Utilities, and Colorado Springs Airport. Ms. Richter received a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Colorado.

A highly motivated, goal-driven project manager, Ms. Richter approaches each new business challenge with an intrinsic flair for innovation, creative problem solving and measured risk taking to consistently deliver desired results. Ms. Richter is one of those people who thrives on ‘getting things done’ - through relationships, partnerships and collaboration.
